Splendid Color Illusion No.6

Lotus leaves are rendered with broad splashes of color, blending green into blue; lotus flowers appear in soft pink and white tones, emerging from the layered hues. The water surface is swept with delicate washes, where reflections mirror the solid forms to create a cool, refreshing scene.

The lotus pond is a dual exercise in color and form. Apply bold strokes with confidence, then refine with restraint. The contrast between the broad shapes of the leaves and the delicate details of the flowers creates rhythm in the composition.
