Splendid Color Illusion No.1

Cinnabar and malachite are splashed inside the pot, their layers naturally flowing and blending to evoke the imagery of green mountains. Selected areas are outlined with ink lines; color does not obscure the ink, nor does the ink hinder the color—bright yet serene.

Splashing color surrenders half the control to the material. The flow of pigment along the vessel walls cannot be fully predetermined; my role is to guide and nurture it at the right moment.
